Draco returned home again, whinnying he reclaim on the lands he stood on. With Admiral close behind him, the ebon stallion headed towards the lake, his favorite place to be. He took off at a run, bucking a couple times before sliding to a quick stop at the edge of the water. His stop sent dirt and rocks flying into the water, making waves and scattering the small fish. Feeling rather displeased with himself, he decided to head off to round up a mare or two.
Turning quickly, he whinnied to Admiral, knowing he'd be heard. Admiral would stay here and watch the lands until he came back. The best benefit of having a draft substallion? He didn't have to worry about someone else stealing something of his. The draft stallion took off out of his lands.

The bay stud trotted lazily in after Draco had left. He heard the onyx stallion call out to him twice. He knew Draco had gone off to build up the herd and Admiral wasn't going to complain. He drank from the lake and started dozing off when he was finished. He lowered his head to the height of his shoulders and propped a hind hoof on its toe.

Standing among the trees, she watched as the black stallion galloped away without noticing her. Nevada started to head towards the lake when yet another stallion, this one bay, trotted in. Ears flicked backwards in slight annoyance. She wanted a simple drink with no interruptions and no one to bother her. She had come to this land because when she got here, she was alone. It wasn't that she didn't want a herd, she was just irritable because she had gotten lost and couldn't find her way back home. She was stuck here as a wild horse. She had never been in the wild. A herd would be beneficial to her, but Nevada just wanted to be alone.

With the wind came the scent of a lone mare nearby. The bay stud looked around but didn't see anyone. A second closer look revealed an amber champagne ess. She was shorter than him but had a lot of muscle to make up for it. Admiral snorted loudly and headed over to her. His giant feathered daggers hitting the ground with loud, distinct thuds. Why, welcome to Mapleview Heights. I'm Admiral. His voice carried a hint of bitter sarcasm. You are?

Nevada pinned her ears as the bay stallion approached her. She stood her ground and didn't make an attempt to leave. A smirk crossed her maw as he sarcastically welcomed her. Admiral had a bit of an attitude it seemed. Pleasure to meet you. You can call me Nevada. She answered him with equally bitter sarcasm. She flicked her tail and kept her ears slightly pinned. These your lands?

He smirked at her as she responded to him in the same tone he had used. Lovely name, dear. Admiral snorted loudly, his voice still thick with bitterness-and amusement. No, these aren't mine. These lands are under the ownership and protection of Draco. I reside here as substallion. He raised his head proudly. You're welcome to stay as well. Draco would love that. Oh, he certainly would.

Substallion. She snorted as she said the word. I certainly will stay, but by my own desire..not by your permission. Nevada turned to head towards the lake, kicking up her heels at him a little. Finally, water. She drank thirstily, not paying any attention to Admiral. He certainly was interesting. She couldn't wait to meet the lead stallion. If Admiral had an attitude like that, she couldn't wait to see Draco's attitude. It had to be worse, otherwise Admiral would've been lead. In her own mind, anyways. Nevada had no idea how these things went in the wild.

Draco trotted in and approached Admiral. Look what I've brought home for you. He smirked knowingly and nodded to the mare and colt he had lead back home. The black draft turned and whinnied impatiently for her.

Shera cantered in after Draco. Jack had decided to take a detour and chase a rabbit but she had gotten him back on track. She stopped quickly beside Draco and noticed the bay stallion, who was just as big as Draco was. The black stallion hadn't really said too much to her, but she felt better standing closer to him. Jack hid behind his mother, not sure what to do. He was surrounded by two incredibly large stallions. Compared to him, anyways.

A snort escaped his nares as the painted ess and her colt arrived. Admiral, this is Shera and her son, Jack. Shera, this is my substallion, Admiral. Draco watched as the young colt hid behind his mother. Jack looked young, not even close to becoming a yearling. And although he didn't approve of foreign colts in his herd, he'd protect him until he was old enough to be on his own. That was his job.

Admiral whickered a greeting to Draco as he arrived and a wide grin appeared on his maw at his words. Shortly after, a paint mare and a young colt arrived. Draco introdiced them as Shera and Jack. Shera was stunning. Nares flared as he took in the scent of her heat. Draco had saved her for him. Winking at the black draft stallion, he spoke. Good job. I've found something for you as well, my good friend. And boy, wait til you get a load of her. He nodded towards the amber champagne ess drinking from the lake. Her name is Nevada. What an attitude that one's got. Thought you might like her so I didn't touch her. Admiral chuckled before turning his attention back to Shera.

Draco chuckled in response. You know me well. Leaving Admiral and Shera to themselves, he trotted over to Nevada. He exaggerated his hoofbeats to make it obvious he was coming. Well, well Nevada. What brings you to my home? She looked strong, a trait he loved in a mare. Nares flared as the scent of her heat hit him. It was enticing and it was difficult to control himself, but he managed.

She lifted her head to see a black stallion approaching her. It must be Draco, seeing how if it were any other stallion Admiral would have driven him out. He already knew her name. She smirked at the tone of his voice. Well, Draco, I was merely exploring. I didn't come here looking for the company of a stallion. She spat out the word 'stallion' like it was an insult. Her voice was thick with bitterness and she flicked her tail in annoyance. Nevada wasn't normally this cold, but Admiral had drawn it out of her. Plus she was irritated before she even got here. She flicked her tail some more, staring Draco down.

Admiral was right, she did have an attitude. It intrigued him. She began flicking her tail, showing her annoyance, but it was only driving him mad. With each flick came the strong scent of her heat. His nares flared again and her tail just kept flicking. This time he couldn't control himself. Moving quickly, he went to her rump and pushed her tail aside with his nose. Her heat hit him again, it was almost too much for him. He mounted her and spread his weight evenly, placing just enough on her to make it difficult for her to get away. She'd be lucky if she did, he was heavy and stronger than her.

She was waiting for his answer and shook out her mane as she stood there. Before she knew it he circled to her rump and jumped on her. A startled, yet angry, squeal left her maw and she bucked, lashing at him with her back legs. His weight kept her from getting them very high and she missed. She tried clamping her tail and spinning around but he was too heavy for her. Ear pinned flat to her skull, she leaned backwards, trying to center his weight on her powerful hindquarters and half reared, popping her forelegs off the ground briefly. Nevada snorted loudly and squealed again in anger and frustration.
