Breed(horses): Mostly AQH, but she's got both Arab and Paint blood mixed in.
Gender: Mare
Color/Build: A pretty dun color, Tanya is somewhat of an eye catcher to stallions who aren't used to the color. A slight bit of a dapple pattern is visible on her shoulders, but only in the warmer seasons. She has a small white star and two coronets.
Age: 3
Personality: Tanya is terrified of humans, but is comfortable around most horses. This is understandable, considering her past. Tanya is, for the most part, a sociable, kind, and likeable mare. However, she will not tolerate any rudeness and can outburst at such things.
History: Tanya was born on a preserve. Her sire was a bay paint and her dam a dun. She is, thus, liable to have hidden a tobiano gene that may pop up if she ever has a foal.
Life on the preserve was good until the humans came during her first fall. Deciding to keep Tanya as breeding stock, they branded her before leaving. The brand is still visible on her pelt.
Now terrified of the strange creatures, Tanya became a bit flighty whenever they came around. They bred her to a black stallion when she turned two, but when she didn't take the ranchers deemed her worthless and sold her.
Escaping to try and find her way back to the preserve, Tanya got lost and is now looking for a new home.
