Lead Stallion- Can claim lands when 3 years old. The most powerful member of a herd. He makes the calls and is responsible for protecting his herd.
Lead Mare- Selected by the lead stallion. She is the second most powerful member of a herd. If there is no sub-stallion, she in is charge of the herd when the lead stallion is not around.
Sub-stallion- The lead stallion can choose a sub stallion if he wishes. The sub-stallion must request permission from the lead to breed a mare in the herd. He cannot breed to the lead mare.
Mares- The most common members of a herd. They are vital to the survival of a herd.
Foals- Cannot leave the herdland at all. They must stay by their mother's side.
Yearlings- May leave the herdland if it is alright with the lead stallion. Colts may be kicked out of the herd at this time.
