Color/Build: Tempest is a red dun mare, her coat a reddish tinted brown and a darker mane and tail. A dark brown, near black, dorsal stripe runs down her spine to the base of her tail. She has no white socks and just a broken blaze down her face. Her 16.3 hand height comes from thoroughbred influence in her blood and her stocky, muscular build comes from her quarter horse heritage.

Personality: Tempest is cold hearted and mean, right down to her core. She feels nothing for other horses and cares only about herself. She is independant and fearless and will get into a scrap with a larger stallion if the need arises. She shows no remorse for anything she does and feels love for no one. It is unknown how she will treat a foal, for she has never once been bred. She is used to getting her way and will take down any that challenge her. Tempest is a strong, fierce fighter.
History: .:I was born far away, in a land that is now forgotten to me. My father drove my mother out of the herd shortly after I was weaned. Punishment for not giving him a colt. He only kept me to trade off because of my pretty color. I was the only red dun in the herd, the others being mere blacks, bays and chestnuts, all very common colors. He succeeded in trading me for a grulla mare.
The stallion of my new herd led me to my new home at the mere age of 2, expecting to breed me that year. He was arrogant and unruly, so I rejected him. Spring after spring, I turned him down. He forced other mares that followed me and rejected his breedings, but he had enough brains to know not to attempt to force me. I turned 5 and abandoned him and the herd, leaving to travel around at my own leisure, unwilling to tie myself to another herd just yet.
