The onyx brute entered the land, snarling the whole way. If he had others with him, they could have easily taken down that stallion. But a fight between one wolf and a huge, muscular stallion of draft blood wouldn't have ended well for Onai. So, instead, he allowed himself to be banished to Mysty Falls.
But Onai would build up a nice pack. And they'd go after Aidan and the others and regain the territory. The territory that belonged to the wolves.

The snowy fem entered the new and unfamiliar terra silently. Harks were perked forward and her eyes darted all around her. She soon spotted an onyx hued brute, the Alpha of these parts. Kalista lowered her bod to the ground in a submissive manner. She hadn't been around another of her kind since she split up with her brothers.

A movement caught Onai's attention. He turned to see a snow white fem lay down submissively about 4 feet away. He gave her a welcoming smile and approached her. Greetings, miss. I'm Onai. He sat before her, not needing to show his authority since she seemed to already know he was Alpha.

It's an honor to meet you, Onai. I'm Kalista. I was wondering if perhaps I could join your pack. I haven't encountered any others yet and I would love to have a place to call home. She peered up at him, still laying down. He seemed kind enough and this place seemed like a nice place to live, aside from the lack of pack members. But that would change eventually.

I wandered into a new land, following only the scent of a pair of wolves. The wind told me it was a small pack, which I enjoyed. The wind blew again and confirmed that this pack was just ahead. I broke through the bushes to see a large onyx brute standing near an alabaster ess.
I lowered my head respectively and waited. I assumed the black brute was the Alpha of these lands, judging by the fem's action and current submissive position. It was fine with me. I had no desire to be an Alpha. I just wanted to finally be part of a pack.

Of course you can stay, Kalista. Please, rise. Onai smiled kindly before the scent and sound of another caught his attention. His topaz optics darted towards the trees to see a silver brute emerge from the trees. Though his head was lowered, he couldn't be sure if this drake intended to overthrow him and take the pack..though it was highly unlikely.
Tail and head rose as Onai walked over towards him, authority emanating from every hair on his body. Welcome. I'm Onai. If you're looking for a home, you're more than welcome to stay. If you're looking to lead a pack of your own, leave now. Onai wouldn't tolerate some brute trying to steal his pack..even if it was only one wolf. His pack was the only thing he had left.

The onyx brute soon diverted his attention from the fem and approached me, showing off his authority and dominance. I lowered my head further to show I was no threat to his throne. I stood patiently as he spoke.
"Welcome. I'm Onai. If you're looking for a home, you're more than welcome to stay. If you're looking to lead a pack of your own, leave now."
"I assure you, sir Onai, that I have no intentions of taking over these lands. I simply wish for a place to live."
I responded in a voice that just barely exceeded a whisper and didn't change my posture. I stood there patiently, waiting for him to either accept me into his pack or send me away.

Onai smiled and nodded in response. Very well, then. You're more than welcome to join Kalista and I. What can we call you? The onyx brute relaxed his position a bit, now that there was no threat. He wouldn't let his guard down completely though, not until he knew this drake better. Onai couldn't turn anyone away though, not if he wanted to defeat Aiden. He needed a large pack and many strongs males.

Onai seemed to relax as he spoke, calling the fem Kalista while welcoming me to his pack. I appreciated his kindness.
"Very well, then. You're more than welcome to join Kalista and I. What can we call you?"
"My name is Aero, sir Onai. And thank you for allowing me to stay. I appreciate it very much."
I remained where I stood, lifting my head just a little. I would wait for him to move before I did. I didn't want to show any possible disrespect towards the Alpha..especially since I didn't know him.

It's no problem. Please, make yourself at home Aero. Onai turned to lead him over to where Kalista was and sat beside her. He yawned before looking off into the distance. He would need a much larger pack in order to fight off the wild horses. Two was a start, but it wouldn't be enough if he wanted to regain the wolves' territory.

"It's no problem. Please, make yourself at home Aero."
I dipped my head in his direction before making my way over to where Kalista remained. Onai seemed lost in thought so I decided to try and strike up a conversation with Kalista.
"Hello. I'm Aero."
It seemed like the best way to start, since she hadn't been with Onai when I introduced myself.

Onai had gone to tend to business involving a silverish gray brute that had just arrived. Not too long after, the silver wolf had approached her and introduced himself as Aero. Hello, Aero. Its nice to meet you. I'm Kalista, if Onai didn't already tell you that. She gave him a friendly smile and sat up.

"Hello, Aero. Its nice to meet you. I'm Kalista, if Onai didn't already tell you that."
She sat up before me, removing herself from the submissive position. We were equals and she obviously didn't think she needed to treat me any other way. She was correct in thinking this and it pleased me. I did not wish to be dominant over any other wolf. My mind sat on this idea for several seconds before I realized I had zoned out.
"Yes, he did tell me. Regardless, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Kalista was one of the more prettier fems I had come across during my travels. Unique, too. I hadn't seen too many pure snow-white fems on my way here. My color, on the other hand, was far too common. Grey wolves were everywhere it seemed. It didn't bother me in the slightest though. It made it easier to blend in with others, especially on a hunt. I, too, sat down and glanced over to Onai. He still seemed lost in a daydream or something of the sort.

He seemed very friendly, for this she was grateful for. There was nothing worse than a hostile pack member. She could see it in his eyes when he spaced out. It was rather amusing. He snapped back to reality soon enough to respond. Onai had in fact told him her name. Kalista followed Aero's eyes to Onai, who had also zoned out. A bunch of space cadets in this pack. The thought made her chuckle out loud. Realizing this, she looked away from them both, hoping neither of them had heard it. She didn't want to have to explain it out loud. Besides, it was funnier in her head.
Onai? Is there a reason we cannot leave this area? Forgive me for my ignorance, but I am from far away and do not know the full story. I have heard bits and pieces here and there. Kalista felt like a total fool for asking this but she needed to know. Everyone else seemed to have heard about the tension between Onai and Aidan, but she did not. She wasn't even sure who Aidan was besides a horse. She glanced at Aero quickly. They couldn't really blame her though, she came from hundredss of miles away, never once being in these parts.

I looked at her strangely when she asked that. She hadn't heard the stories of Aidan? Did she know who the Great Onde had been? It was a very good question, I wouldn't laugh or pick on her for that. It merely took me by surprise. I lowered myself to the ground, getting ready to listen to the story that Onai would soon tell, my tongue hanging out of my mouth. I looked from Kalista to Onai and waited patiently for him to begin.
