Name: Gem
Species: Horse
Breed(horses): Arab X Mustang
Gender: Mare
Color/Build: Gem is a slender creature, but not very muscular. She's more of a pretty horse than a brawny one, but she's ok with that. Her peltage is a bright buckskin, with a mane and tail of onyx and a blaze upon her maw.
Age: 2
Personality: Gem is one of those mares who makes you think of the energizer bunny. Since she is still just out of her younger days, she has endless curiosity and is full of energy. Her spirited attitude can turn bad, though, if you ever offend her. She holds a grudge, and doesn't let things go easily. She can be a bit flirty when she wants to be, but not constantly.
History: Her sire, a wild buckskin mustang, broke into the pen of her gorgeous chestnut arabian mother. Her dam, a true champion mare who had produced stunning arab foals in the past, was believed to be in foal to a handsome blue roan arab stud. When Gem was born, however, they realized what had gone wrong.
Gem was taken care of until she no longer needed her mother, at which time she was set free. A young weanling, Gem still missed her dam, but didn't return to the ranch they didn't want her at. She made it on her own, grazing and growing until she finally looked like she belonged on her slender, long legs. She has grown now into a gorgeous filly that is of breeding age and should be a true prize to any stallion that attempts to steal her heart.
