Name: Shera
Species: Horse
Breed(horses): Paint
Gender: Mare
Color/Build: Shera is a beautiful bay tobiano mare. Her forelock is black while the rest of her mane is white. Her banner, or tail, starts out white but turns black in the middle. In the middle of her forehead is a white star. Her pelt is mostly that of a rich, chocolatey color with several patches of pure alabaster. Her frame is delicate, though a bit stocky. Despite her being a mare, Shera is quite muscular and strong. She isn't too small but she isn't too large either. She comes in at a medium height. She had distinctive thoroughbred features because she has a little thoroughbred blood in her. Her pillars, or legs, are slim but muscular.
Age: 3
Personality: This bay tobiano mare is an easy one to get along with. She is a brilliant leader but is not cruel or harsh. Shera treats others with the same amount of respect. If one treats her badly, she won't seek revenge on them. Instead, she will treat them with kindness. She can be a bit flirty, especially when spring comes along. However, she won't try to take over the position of lead mare if that spot is already occupied. Overall, Shera is calm and kind. She has a strong love for foals and will care for them to the best of her ability. She is polite and rarely picks fights. Occasionally she'll have a bad day and snap at a few others....but who doesn't?
History: Born to two paints, Shera was raised well. She was taught properly and was respectful to all herd members. She was the second filly born that spring. The rest were colts. Her wonderful sire gave her nearly everything she wished for. The list was quite short, for Shera was not greedy and she loved everything how it was. She had a stronger relationship with her father than she did with her mother. He protected her and did everything her mother didn't, which was good for her mother hadn't really wanted her. She had been expecting a colt.
When Shera turned two and her first heat came on, the colts went after her. They were two as well and her sire was in the process of removing them. She clung to her father, knowing none would dare approach her while she was with him, but she couldn't stay by his side all the time. She made it through the first heat season fine. The colts were removed except for two. Now, spring has come around again and the other colts, now stallions, want her again. It was too much for her to handle so she bid her father a tearful goodbye and set off on her own at the age of 3.
